GB/T 12959-2008 Test methods for heat of hydration of cement

Scope

This standard specifies the principles, instrumentation, laboratory conditions, materials, experimental operations, and calculation and processing of results for the determination of the hydration heat of cement. This standard is applicable to medium-heat silicate cement, low-heat silicate cement, low-heat slag silicate cement, silicate cement, ordinary silicate cement, slag silicate cement, volcanic ash silicate cement, and fly ash silicate cement. When using the dissolution heat method for other types of cement, the time for reading the temperature of the cement of this type should be determined. In this standard, the dissolution heat method is listed as the reference method, and the direct method is listed as the substitute method. When there are disputes about the results of the determination of the hydration heat of cement, the reference method shall prevail.
