GB/T 6909-2018 Analysis of water used in boiler and cooling system—Determination of hardness
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the determination methods of hardness in boiler water and cooling water. This standard is applicable to the determination of hardness in boiler water and cooling water. The determination range of the chromotropic black T method in this standard is 0.01 mmol/L to 5 mmol/L. When the hardness exceeds 5 mmol/L, the sampling volume can be appropriately reduced and the determination can be carried out after dilution; the determination range of the acidic chromium blue K method is 1 μmol/L to 100 μmol/L; and the determination range of the potentiometric titration method is 0.25 mmol/L to 10 mmol/L (all based on Ca2+ and Mg2+ as the basic units). This standard is also applicable to the determination of hardness in natural water, cooling water, softened water, and boiler feedwater.
