This document specifies the requirements and test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and safety for automotive methanol gasoline (M85), which is blended from 82% to 86% (by volume) methanol, automotive gasoline, and additives to improve its performance. This document is applicable to the fuel used by spark-ignition engines in automobiles running on automotive methanol gasoline (M85).
