Scope
This document is applicable to the design, manufacture, inspection, and storage of zinc anodes used for cathodic protection of metal components in electrolytes such as seawater, freshwater, and soil with temperatures below 50℃ and resistivity less than 15Ω·m. It includes zinc anodes for cathodic protection of steel structures in ships, port facilities, marine engineering, buried metal pipelines, storage tanks, seawater cooling water systems, and other special applications such as zinc grounding electrodes, reference electrodes, grounding batteries, and anti-AC interference.
