Scope

This document specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage, and maintenance for pressure sensors used in automobiles (hereinafter referred to as "sensors"). This document applies to pressure sensors used in M and N-class automobiles, including engine lubricating oil pressure sensors, engine intake pressure sensors, brake system pressure sensors, air conditioning pressure sensors, low-pressure fuel supply pressure sensors, and urea line pressure sensors. Other pressure sensors and pressure sensors used in other motor vehicles shall be implemented in accordance with this document.
