GB/T 12690.15-2018 Chemical analysis methods for non-rare earth impurities of rare earth metals and their oxides—Part 15:Determination of calcium content
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 12690 specifies the determination methods for the calcium content in rare earth metals and the calcium oxide content in their oxides. This part is applicable to the determination of calcium content in rare earth metals and calcium oxide content in their oxides. It includes three methods: Method 1, inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry; Method 2, flame atomic absorption spectrometry; and Method 3, inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. The determination range of Method 1 is shown in Table 1, the determination range of Method 2 is 0.010% to 0.30%, and the determination range of Method 3 is 0.0002% to 0.050%. When the analysis ranges of the three methods overlap, if the sample is lanthanum, cerium, europium, gadolinium, terbium, thulium, ytterbium, lutetium, and yttrium and their oxides, Method 1 shall be used as the arbitration method; if the sample is praseodymium, neodymium, samarium, dysprosium, holmium, erbium, and their oxides, Method 3 shall be used as the arbitration method.
