Scope

This standard stipulates the basic principles of coalbed methane exploration, the requirements for the degree of work, the coalbed methane work in each exploration stage of coal resources, the method and technical requirements of exploration projects, the calculation of coalbed methane resources/reserves, and the preparation of exploration reports.
This standard is applicable to the design and preparation of coalbed methane exploration, exploration construction, geological research, resource/reserve calculation, evaluation, preparation and approval of exploration reports.
