Scope
This document specifies the requirements for laboratories and materials used in the determination of the water retention rate of cement mortar, describes the methods for determining the water consumption and water retention rate of cement mortar, and stipulates the processing of test results.
This document is applicable to the determination of the water retention rate of general silicate cement and masonry cement mortar. Other cements and materials may be used for reference.
