Scope

This part of GB/T 20448 specifies a unified and repeatable method for evaluating the load-bearing performance of rollover protection structures (ROPS) on self-propelled forestry machinery under static loading, and sets out the performance requirements for typical test specimens under this loading. This part applies to machinery configured as forestry machinery or forestry machinery defined in ISO 6814, which is equipped with a cab and a boom on a rotating workbench and operated by an operator wearing a seat belt. This part does not apply to forestry machinery with a lifting cab that does not comply with ROPS fixed cab lifting devices.
