Scope
This standard specifies the preparation for, requirements of, and methods of the magnetization test for the stator cores of generators. It also defines the criteria for assessing the quality of the stator cores. This standard applies to the magnetization test of the stator cores of synchronous generators with a voltage rating of 6.3 kV or higher, as well as hydroelectric generators, and is used to inspect the assembly quality of the stator cores of generators.
