Scope

This standard specifies the measurement methods and measuring equipment for various driver's seat reference points (SIPs) on agricultural and forestry tractors and machinery. This standard provides a unified definition method for the position of the SIP on the driver's seat relative to a fixed point. The SIP can be measured separately on the driver's seat or when the driver's seat is installed on the machinery and in a working environment. The SIP is a characteristic of the driver's seat.
