Scope

This document describes the high-performance liquid chromatography method for determining vitamin A in feed.
In this document, the "First Method: Saponification Extraction" is suitable for determining vitamin A in compound feed, concentrated feed, vitamin premix feed, and compound premix feed; the "Second Method: Direct Extraction" is suitable for determining vitamin A acetate in compound premix feed and vitamin premix feed.
The quantification limit of the First Method in this document is 1,000 IU/kg, and the quantification limit of the Second Method is 20,000 IU/kg.
