Scope

This standard specifies the method for measuring the purification performance of air purifiers in passenger cars (hereinafter referred to as air purifiers) against pollutants in the air.
This standard applies to air purifiers used in passenger cars with up to 7 seats (inclusive).
Note: Air purifiers used in 8-seater and 9-seater passenger cars can refer to this standard for implementation.
This standard does not apply to air purification devices permanently installed in the air conditioning systems of passenger cars.
