Scope

This document defines the components of the public information guidance system in civil airports (hereinafter referred to as the "airport guidance system"), establishes the general principles and requirements for setting up the airport guidance system, stipulates the specific setup requirements for different sub-guidance systems in the airport guidance system and the requirements for coordination between guidance systems, as well as the maintenance and adjustment requirements of the guidance system, etc.
This document applies to the setup of public information guidance systems mainly composed of static signs in civil airport terminals. It can be used as a reference for the setup of public information guidance systems in urban airports.
This document does not apply to the setup of emergency evacuation guidance systems and safety signs in airport terminals.
Note 1: Urban airports are the extension and expansion of the basic functions of airport terminals to the surrounding cities and regions of airports. Urban airports are divided into urban airports in the city where the airport is located and non-local urban airports according to their relative positions to the corresponding airports.
Note 2: The setup requirements for emergency evacuation guidance systems in public buildings are stipulated in GB/T 23809.1, and the usage requirements for safety signs are stipulated in GB/T 2893.5.
