Scope
This document specifies the dimensional characteristics, contact distribution, testing, and requirements of the 7-core electrical connector for the braking and driving systems between tractors and trailers with a nominal voltage of 12 V. It also further stipulates the storage socket for storing the plug when the plug and socket are separated.
This document is applicable to Class N tractors with a nominal voltage of 12 V. Other vehicles may refer to it for use as a reference.
