Scope

This standard specifies the classification and marking, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of gravity-type shelves.
This standard applies to intensive storage units, the working characteristic of which is that the goods units slide on the shelf rollers relying on their own gravity, moving from the inbound end to the outbound end. The goods storage and retrieval method is the first-in, first-out gravity-type shelf (hereinafter referred to as the shelf).
