Scope
This document specifies the dimensional tolerance levels and tolerance values for solid rubber products molded, extruded, and calendered, and also describes the corresponding measurement methods required to meet the requirements of this document.
The tolerances specified in this document are primarily applicable to vulcanized rubber products, but they also apply to thermoplastic rubber products.
This document is not applicable to precision ring seals or calendered composite products such as rubber tapes, nor to products coated with rubber using methods such as rubber coating or rubber bonding.
