Scope
This standard specifies the dimensions of the shrink-fit sleeves with a 7:24 external conical shape and a Morse internal conical shape. The 7:24 external conical shape includes handles with sizes 30, 40, 45, 50, and 60, while the Morse internal conical shape includes handles with sizes 1 to 6. Among them, handles with sizes 4 to 6 can be made with or without forced transmission. These shrink-fit sleeves can drive Morse-conical-shafted tools with internal threads on the tail. The form of the internal threads and the fastening method in the hole are determined by the manufacturer. The 7:24 conical shape complies with ISO 297, and the Morse conical shape complies with ISO 296 and ISO 5413.
