Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for the interior door opening handles of passenger cars (hereinafter referred to as "interior door opening handles").
This document applies to straight-handle and ring-style interior door opening handles installed in passenger cars. Other types of interior door opening handles shall be implemented in accordance with this document.
