Scope

This standard specifies the test method for determining the fire resistance performance of hose assemblies with a nominal diameter of not less than 100 mm. This test is used to demonstrate that the hose assembly maintains continuous tightness even under test pressure after being subjected to a period of flame exposure on the test rig specified in GB/T 21476. The test medium is only allowed to be water. To ensure maximum safety for operators and the test rig in the event of hose damage during the test, the use of flammable test media is prohibited.
