This standard specifies the basic types and dimensions of single-head and multi-head integral gear hobs with end keys or shaft keys, with a module of 0.5 mm to 40 mm.
This standard is applicable to hobs used for machining gears with a module according to GB/T 1357 and a basic tooth profile according to GB/T 1356 with a 20° pressure angle.
