Scope

This standard specifies the interchangeable dimensions between milling cutters and milling cutter shafts or mandrels, namely: the inner hole, the diameter of the cutter shaft or mandrel, and all elements of the key or end key drive. This standard applies to various milling cutters installed on cutter shafts or mandrels. This standard provides two sets of tables for key drive and end key drive respectively. In Appendix A, a conversion table is provided to convert metric values to their corresponding imperial values.
