Scope
This document is applicable to the testing of the shear strength of masonry with a thickness of 240 mm and the compressive strength of masonry mortar. The masonry materials include sintered ordinary bricks, sintered porous bricks, concrete ordinary bricks, concrete porous bricks, or autoclaved fly ash bricks. The dimensions of the masonry blocks are 240 mm × 115 mm × 53 mm or 240 mm × 115 mm × 90 mm.
