HJ 1223-2021 Emergency determination of volatile organic compounds in ambient air using portable gas chromatography-mass spectrometry
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the portable gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method for measuring volatile organic compounds in ambient air. This standard is applicable to the on-site emergency measurement of 52 kinds of volatile organic compounds, such as toluene, in the ambient air around the site of sudden environmental incidents. Other volatile organic compounds can also be used for qualitative analysis and concentration estimation with this method. Under full scan mode, when the sample injection volume is 600 ml and the split ratio is 50:1, or when the sample injection volume is 100 ml and no split is used, the method's detection limit is 3 μg/m3 to 9 μg/m3, and the determination limit is 12 μg/m3 to 36 μg/m3.
