Scope

This document establishes the post-harvest processing procedures for loquat fruits, stipulates the operating instructions for the stages of loquat fruit harvesting, sorting and selection, pre-cooling, grading, storage, packaging, labeling, transportation, and sales, as well as the transition conditions between these stages. It also describes traceability methods such as process records and marking. This document is applicable to the operation and management of all stages of loquat fruit post-harvest processing, including red-flesh and white-flesh loquat varieties.
