GB/T 16671-2018 Geometrical product specifications(GPS)—Geometrical tolerancing—Maximum material requirement(MMR),least material requirement(LMR)and reciprocity requirement(RPR)
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions of maximum entity requirements, minimum entity requirements, and reversible requirements, as well as basic provisions, drawing representation methods, and application examples. These requirements only apply to dimensional elements.
This standard applies to cases where the dimensions and geometric tolerances of a workpiece are interrelated to meet its specific functions, such as ensuring the assemblyability of parts (maximum entity requirements) and guaranteeing minimum wall thickness (minimum entity requirements). However, maximum entity requirements and minimum entity requirements also apply to other functional requirements.
Given the interrelationship between dimensional and geometric elements, the independent principles defined in GB/T 4249 no longer apply when maximum entity requirements, minimum entity requirements, or reversible requirements are adopted.
