Scope

This part of YY/T 0583 specifies the requirements for sterile supply of dry-sealed valve type single-use thoracic drainage devices (referred to as drainage devices). The device can perform gravity drainage and can also be connected to a negative pressure suction system to achieve suction drainage.
The requirements for the autologous blood reinfusion system on thoracic drainage catheters inserted into the patient's thoracic cavity and thoracic drainage devices with an autologous blood reinfusion system are not included in the scope of this part.
