This standard specifies the color, size, pattern, and general characteristics of labels, and also stipulates the printing characteristics of drug names.
This standard applies to labels that users attach to syringes, so that the drugs in the syringes can be identified before administration during anesthesia.
This standard does not apply to labels that pharmaceutical manufacturers attach to syringes or injection cartridges.
