Scope

This document stipulates the principles for the collection of characters commonly used in ancient book printing and the principles of the font standard for computer Songti characters, and provides the fonts, pronunciations, and code positions of 14,250 commonly used characters in ancient book printing in the international coding character set ISO/IEC 10646.
This document is applicable to the printing and publication of ancient books handed down from dynasties before 1911, and also to the printing of traditional Chinese editions of modern books and periodicals.
