Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificates, and contract (or order form) content for directly produced zinc oxide.
This standard applies to zinc oxide obtained by pyrometallurgical processing of zinc concentrate. Directly produced zinc oxide is mainly used in rubber, coatings, ceramics, cables, glass, enamel, petroleum, and chemical industries.
