GB 4706.99-2009 Household and similar electrical appliances—Safety—Particular requirements for thermal-storage hand warmers

Scope

The chapter of GB 4706.1-2005 is replaced by the following content:
This part applies to the safety of heat storage electric hand warmers (hereinafter referred to as "hand warmers") and similar appliances for household and similar purposes with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V.
This part also applies to the control devices provided with the appliances.
The common hazards of the appliances covered by this part may be encountered by all people in residential and surrounding environments. However, in general, this part does not address:
——The hazards of unattended young children and disabled people using the appliances;
——The situation of young children playing with the appliances.
