HJ 1208-2021 Discharge units' self-monitoring technical guidance for non-ferrous metals industry - Recycling metals
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the general requirements for self-monitoring by industrial wastewater discharge units of recycled non-ferrous metals (recycled copper, recycled aluminum, recycled lead, and recycled zinc), the formulation of monitoring plans, and the basic content and requirements for information recording and reporting. This standard applies to wastewater discharge units that produce non-ferrous metals and their alloys using waste non-ferrous metals as raw materials, and conduct self-monitoring of water and air pollutants, noise, and the impact on the surrounding environmental quality during the production and operation phase. Wastewater discharge units that produce non-ferrous metals and their alloys using secondary resources such as copper-containing sludge, zinc-containing steelmaking dust, and lead-containing leaching slag as the main raw materials may refer to this standard for implementation. The self-monitoring requirements for self-owned thermal power generating units (plants) and supporting power boilers shall be implemented in accordance with HJ 820.
