Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for nitrate rare earth plant growth regulators.
This standard applies to light rare earth minerals mainly composed of lanthanum and cerium, and nitrate rare earths (formula RE(NO3)3·6H2O) prepared from light rare earth concentrates obtained by extraction and separation, where RE consists of La, Ce, Pr, Nd, or at least two or more rare earth ions. This product is used as a plant growth regulator (the method of use is described in Appendix A).
