Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the no-load discharge of volumetric hydraulic pumps and motors under steady-state operating conditions and at specified continuous speeds.
When the test component is tested as a pump, mechanical energy is input at the shaft end and hydraulic energy is output at the oil port; while when the test component is tested as a motor, hydraulic energy is input at the oil port and mechanical energy is output at the shaft end.
