GB/T 8870.1-2012 Automation systems and integration—Numerical control of machines—Program format and definitions of address words—Part 1:Data format for positioning, line motion and contouring control systems
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 8870 sets out requirements and recommendations for the data formats of point positioning, linear motion, and contour control systems used in machine tool numerical control, which helps to coordinate system design, minimize the number of programs required for parts processing, promote the unification of programming techniques, and ensure the interchangeability of input programs among CNC machine tools of the same model, processing technology, function, size, and precision. It is hoped that a simple format can be used for programming of simple numerical control machines, and more complex machines can simply extend the system step by step.
This part is not applicable to the numerical control of flame cutters and plotters specifically used in the shipbuilding industry. Their relevant formats ("ESSI format") are described in ISO 6852.
