GB/T 17454.3-2008 Safety of machinery—Pressure-sensitive protective devices—Part 3:General principles for design and testing of pressure-sensitive bumpers, plates, wires and similar devices
Basic Information
Scope
The purpose of this section is primarily to describe the relationship between safety and reliability, rather than suitability (for the relationship between safety and reliability, see Appendix D in GB/T 16855.1—2005). This section does not specify the dimensions of pressure-sensitive protective devices related to any specific applications. The detailed requirements for specific applications are specified in the relevant Class C standards (see GB/T 15706.1 and the introduction). This section does not apply to stop devices (including emergency stop devices) used solely for the normal operation of machinery, nor to pressure-sensitive protective devices used in areas easily accessible by the elderly, disabled individuals, or children, which must meet special additional requirements.
