This standard specifies the test methods for the coating amount and coating uniformity of hot-melt adhesive for thermal-bonded linings. This standard is applicable to the determination of the coating amount and coating uniformity of hot-melt adhesive for thermal-bonded linings using woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, and non-woven fabrics of various materials as base fabrics. This standard is not applicable to the determination of the coating amount and coating uniformity of hot-melt adhesive for thermal-bonded linings, where the base fabric is not resistant to solvent extraction, which may significantly affect the test results.
