Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 32588 specifies systemic safety requirements, applicable to all types of urban rail transit systems that operate on dedicated lines using driverless or unattended self-propelled trains. When equipped with crew members, the corresponding staff shall be responsible for some or all train operation functions according to the degree of system automation (see the shaded part of Table 1 and the definition of automation levels in 3.1). This part sets forth the necessary safety requirements when there are no crew members (see Table 1). The requirements of this part only apply to the system defined in Chapter 5, the driverless (DTO) mode defined in 3.1.4, and the unattended (UTO) mode defined in 3.1.20 (see the shaded part of Table 1).
