Scope

This standard specifies the method of instrument rating for discoloration of test samples compared with untested samples, as well as the calculation method of converting the instrument measurement values into the discoloration grade of the gray sample card. This standard is applicable to the rating of various fabric color fastness tests. Note: Due to the influence of fluorescence and/or other factors, there may be differences between the instrument rating and the visual rating of the samples.
