Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements and testing methods for charging/data interfaces, AC power adapters, and cables of mobile communication terminals (hereinafter referred to as "terminals"), including the physical characteristics, electrical characteristics, safety characteristics, electromagnetic compatibility, environmental adaptability, and identification marks involved. This standard applies to terminals, AC power adapters, and their connecting cables that use wired power supply. This standard does not apply to mobile terminals that require special power supply and applications, such as special mobile devices used only in enterprises and industries. The power supply or charging of other portable or small household electronic devices can also be used as a reference.
