Scope

This standard applies to the emission management of air pollutants from existing coal-fired power plants within the jurisdiction of Shanxi Province, as well as the environmental impact assessment, environmental protection facility design, and completion environmental protection acceptance of new, modified, and expanded projects. This standard applies to coal-fired power generation boilers with a single output of more than 65 t/h, except for layer-burning boilers and thrower boilers; pulverized coal power generation boilers of various capacities; and power generation boilers with a single output of more than 65 t/h that use fuels such as coal gangue, sludge, and washed coal, or that primarily burn coal while co-firing other fuels. This standard applies to legally permitted pollutant emission behaviors. The siting of new pollutant sources and the management of existing pollutant sources within special protection areas shall be implemented in accordance with the relevant provisions of laws, regulations, and rules such as the Air Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China and the Environmental Impact Assessment Law of the People's Republic of China.
