Scope
This standard specifies a general method for the determination of trace sulfur compounds expressed as sulfate in industrial chemical products — the reduction and titration method. In the chemical product standards where this method can be applied, the method of handling the test samples should be specified to convert the sulfur compounds into sulfates. If necessary, any improvements to the general operating steps can be made.
