Scope

This document specifies the general requirements for the shielding of power frequency electric fields in high-voltage AC overhead transmission lines and substations, including the determination of the shielding scope, the design of the shielding solution, construction, and acceptance. This document is applicable to the shielding of power frequency electric fields in AC overhead transmission lines and substations with voltages of 110 kV and above.
