Scope
This document specifies the usage conditions, classification and codes, technical requirements, test methods, design requirements, inspection rules, packaging, transportation, storage, and accompanying documents for the soundproof enclosures of converter transformers (hereinafter referred to as "soundproof enclosures"). This document is applicable to the design, manufacture, and inspection of soundproof enclosures for converter transformers. Other soundproof enclosures for conventional transformers with noise reduction requirements may be implemented in accordance with this document.
