GB/T 45357-2025 Plastics piping systems on ships—Polyethylene(PE) pipes and fittings
Basic Information
Scope
This document specifies the requirements for marine polyethylene (PE) pipes and fittings, including material requirements, fittings classification, dimensional specifications, burst pressure and hydrostatic strength, physical and mechanical properties, system applicability, and corresponding test methods. It also stipulates inspection rules, marking requirements, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements. This document applies to non-critical piping systems with a maximum operating temperature of no more than 60 °C and a maximum operating pressure (MOP) of no more than 1.6 MPa, installed in marine ballast water tanks, open decks, cabinets, empty tanks, pipe tunnels, and guide holes, including ballast water piping systems, potable water piping systems, and gray/black water piping systems. The piping systems specified in this document are not suitable for applications requiring fire resistance, smoke suppression, or electrical conductivity. Note: It is the responsibility of relevant parties to select products specified in this document appropriately based on specific application needs and in accordance with relevant regulations, standards, and norm requirements.
