Scope

This part of GB/T 19466 specifies the test method for determining the oxidation induction time (isothermal OIT) and oxidation induction temperature (dynamic OIT) of polymeric materials using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC).
This part is applicable to fully stabilized blended polyolefin materials (raw materials or finished products). It is also applicable to other plastics.
