Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic functions and parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and markings, packaging, transportation, and storage of vertical combustion performance testers for textiles. This standard applies to vertical combustion performance testers (hereinafter referred to as vertical combustion testers) used for conducting combustion performance tests by igniting the bottom edge of textile samples in a vertical direction. Note: The structural description of vertical combustion testers is provided in GB/T 5455-2014.
