Scope
This standard specifies the equipment, specimens, test procedures, processing of test results, and test reports for low-cycle fatigue tests of metal materials under axial constant amplitude loading. This standard applies to low-cycle fatigue tests of metal materials with equal-section and funnel-shaped specimens subjected to axial constant amplitude stress or strain, excluding tests on full-size components and structural parts. It is suitable for cases where time-dependent inelastic strain and time-independent inelastic strain are relatively small or comparable in magnitude, as well as for tests conducted at similar temperatures and strain rates. Tests may be conducted under environmental factors such as temperature, pressure, humidity, and medium, provided that these factors remain constant throughout the entire testing process.
