Scope

This standard specifies the classification and models, materials and structures, requirements, test methods, acceptance rules, marking and instructions, packaging, transportation, and storage of condensing household gas water heaters (hereinafter referred to as condensing water heaters) used for heating domestic water.
This standard applies to forced-air condensing water heaters, forced-air and exhaust-air condensing water heaters, and outdoor-type condensing water heaters that meet the requirements of GB/T 13611 for gas except artificial gas, and have a rated heat input of no more than 70 kW.
