Scope
This regulation applies to the initial verification, subsequent verification, and in-use inspection of X-ray radiation sources used for simulation positioning before or during radiotherapy. The operating voltage of its high-voltage generator does not exceed 400 kV.
This regulation does not apply to X-ray radiation sources that utilize computed tomography (CT) simulation positioning technology.
